IN THE SKY
Changing hearts
Heal open scars
Darkness comes and goes
In the fleet of a moment.
A world abounds me
Unknown and endless in its nature
A journey I can not see
but I know is there.
An invisible giant
A trojan horse hiding
the future inside
When will it come out?
I could not tell you if I tried.
Sky high I fly
with life in mind
twists, curves and turns
The chosen path I must find.
My heart will lead the way
As I shut my eyes and take the leap
My passion is the wind
A force so strong; a will so deep
Patience rides along to keep the pace
Anticipation looks ahead to what is to come
So many emotions join the race
and will remain until the adventure is done.
What is my calling?
Where do I belong?
Who am I supposed to speak to?
What am I meant to be?
Unanswered questions fortify my resolve
to follow true to my calling
to never settle for side line seconds
Never will I rest or give in.
On this hunt with no treasure map
My minds eye tries to assume the continuity
As I step forward with each new step
New ground is formed in the country of me.
In this new land
I have yet to discover
The world is better
Larger and more complete
Be patient my soul
Take courage my heart
I hope for peace of mind
For life is about to start.
